A "hack" is a creative way of dealing with common problems that you might not have thought of. We love Autoblog's Car Hacks video series, filled with expert advice that can improve your experience owning a vehicle.

In this episode, you can learn how to do away with pesky crayon marks once and for all!

If you have ever been in the situation where your kids did not color between the lines, and instead scrawled all over the cloth car seats, then you know how impossible it can be to get those stains out. Regular fabric cleaner doesn't even phase the rainbow array of crayon.

Instead of applying a cleaning product, all you need is a clothes iron, and a piece of paper.

Cover the crayon stain with paper, then iron over it on low heat, moving constantly to avoid burning holes in the fabric. Take a peek under the paper, and see how much progress you've made. Depending on the size of the stain, you may need to move the paper around to an unused section, or get a fresh sheet. Soon, all of the crayon will be absorbed.

It's a great tip if you're getting your vehicle ready for trade-in appraisal, or if you just want to reclaim the back seat from your little terrors. Keep an eye on our Hyman Bros. Automobiles blog for more tips and advice on getting the most out of your car.
