At Hyman Bros you can sell us your car without buying one from us. Just bring your vehicle to any of our three convenient locations and we'll give you a free, written appraisal good for 7 days. It's fast and easy, and usually takes about 25 minutes or less. We will appraise and buy any type of vehicle from $100 to $100,000 in value.
Even though we'll buy any car, only about half of those we buy will ever be sold at our stores to the public. Each car must pass our rigorous inspection before we'll consider it for our lot, and cars that don't meet our high-quality standards are sold at major wholesale auctions.
Step one: bring your car to any Hyman Bros. location
Bring your car to your nearest Hyman Bros, and we'll carefully inspect and drive your car to determine your appraisal offer.
We'll check:
- Interior and exterior condition
- Mileage/age-excessive miles may lower your offer and narrow its resale market.
- Paint, body, and frame for damage, dents, scratches, etc.
Step two: the offer
We'll give you an honest, fair written offer good for 7 days at any Hyman Bros. location. At Hyman Bros. we sell all makes and models. We have a strong demand for all used vehicles. This allows us to give the most competitive offers in the region.
Step three: complete the sale
When you decide to sell your car to Hyman Bros, bring all your paperwork, lien-holder information, title and any car accessories, including extra keys and owner's manuals. Hyman Bros will buy your car, whether you buy one from us or not.
We'll help you with your paperwork, and if there's a pay-off involved, we'll call your finance company to determine your balance.
If the pay-off is more than the value of your vehicle, the difference is called negative equity. We'll calculate the difference between your pay-off and our offer to you. We'll accept a cashier's check or certified check for the amount you owe and then pay off the finance company. In some cases, the negative equity can be included in your financing when you buy from Hyman Bros. If you don't owe money you are given a check or you can use your offer as a down payment on a Hyman Bros vehicle.
